We had an expressive workshop with artist Louise Ritchie. It was a fun day getting to let loose and just be expressive and experimental. We did not get to choose what colour of paint we got, I was given red and we had to paint our entire sheet of paper with it then we had to go into it with acrylic and oil pastels. I also made use of masking tape.
After we had finished doing our paintings we had to roll them into a tube and put them together as a class to make an even bigger sculpture. It looked really colourful and impressive. I’m looking forward to doing an expressive workshop again next semester.
